Wilma Sadler , age 84, of Shepherdsville, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born in Barwick, KY on August 28, 1940, to the late Sam P. and Verna "Carr" Deaton.

Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Sadler; brother, Samuel Deaton, Jr.; sister, Pamela Deaton.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Jennifer Carnes (Mickey) and Terri Young (David); sister, Sarah Dunn (Bobby); grandchildren, Cody Schroader (Krystal), Kasey Young, Samuel Dillander, Mitchell Carnes (Shannon) and Brennen Carnes; great grandchildren, Colin, Michael, Colton and Alenna; special nephew, Tony Dunn; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Friday, December 6, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 North Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Jackson Cemetery in Jackson, KY. Friends may pay their respects on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 1 PM until time of service at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be Saturday, December 7, 12 noon at the Jackson Cemetery with John Bunn officiating.
