Wilgus Stamper, 62, Jackson passed away Mon., Feb. 27, at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson. He was a retired youth leader with CLEP. He was also a retired firefighter with the Vancleve Voluntary Fire Dept. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Stamper of Jackson; his parents, Eva and Raymond Hounshell of Jackson; his daughter, Venessa(Chuck) Birch of Winchester; two sisters, Starli Sue Dunn(Andy) of Jackson, Norma Schantz(David) of Lexington; two grandchildren, Becky and Dillon and one great grandchild, Bentley. Visitation Wed., Mar. 1, 5:00PM at the funeral home. Funeral services Thurs., Mar. 2, 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Armon Nichols officiating. Burial in the Evans Crossing Cemetery at Campton. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends and serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Vancleve Volunteer Fire Dept.
