Stratton "John" Miller, 77, passed away Thursday, June 5, at the St. Joe Hospital in Lexington. He was the widow of the late Ruth (Cole) Miller and the son of the late Blanton Miller and Pearlie Howard Miller Davis. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Vicki Mahaney; one son, John Robert Miller; two brothers, Marvin Miller, Lester Miller; two sisters, Gwinlin Davis Carpenter, Flora Miller Lively. He was a US Marine veteran. He is survived by five sons, Stratton(Jessica) Miller, Christopher(Gena) Miller, David(Alice) Carpenter, Timothy(Diane) Carpenter, Phillip Carpenter; two daughters, Brenda(Mark) Harstad, JoAnna(Steve) Hurd; one brother, Robert(Elivira) Davis; one sister, Wanda(Hiram) Fugate; fifteen grandchildren; host of great grandchildren.
