It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sierra ShiAnn Taulbee, age 32, of Frozen, on February 17, 2025.

She was born on July 25, 1992, to Melissa Greeley Taulbee and the late Stephen Taulbee.

Sierra was a former postal clerk and mail carrier, and she was known for her kindness, beauty, and dedication to her work. She had a true passion for crafting, shopping, and music, always finding joy in the little things that made life special.

Sierra was the beloved daughter of Melissa Greeley Taulbee and stepfather Russell Pelfrey. She is also survived by her loving son, Briar Kane Donathan, and daughter, Stevie Bristol Donathan, and the father of her children Shawn Donathan, her brother, Stetson Taulbee (Courtney), uncle, Maynard Greeley Jr. (Sarah) and aunt, Susan Miller. She was especially close to her nieces, Lakoda Taulbee and Kiersten Tolson, and her special aunt, Angie Noble.

Sierra was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Taulbee, and her maternal grandparents, Maynard Greeley, Judy A. Holbrook, and Jim Holbrook, as well as her paternal grandparents, Harold and Betty Taulbee.

Visitation for Sierra will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM at the Breathitt Funeral Home.Her funeral will begin at 1:00PM with Jessica Mullins officiating. Sierra will be laid to rest in the Taulbee Family Cemetery at Frozen with Royce Donathan, Makhi Manns, Brandon Pelfrey, Tyler Pelfrey, Roy Kidd, and Harley Gillum serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Darren Pelfrey, Eddie Pelfrey, Jacob Taulbee and Mac Trusty.

Though she is no longer with us, Sierra's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
