Russell Hardin Jr., 74, Harrodsburg passed away Monday, March 12 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington. He was a US Army veteran and was a member of the Lake Dreamland Baptist Church. He was the widower of the late Bertha Hardin and the son of the late Russell Sr. and Abby Dean Hardin. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Juanita Embry, Charlene McNutt, Mary Prater. He is survived by two sons, Joel(Tracy) Hardin, Scott(Missy) Hardin; one daughter, Debbie(Oat) Marshall; four brothers, Steve Hardin, Granville Hardin, Henry Hardin, John Hardin; six grandchildren, Shelby Hardin, Matthew Hardin, Sierha Hardin, Cody Ramsey, Sarah Pritchard, Oscar Nathaniel Marshall. Visitation Friday, March 16, 6PM. Funeral Saturday, March 17, 1PM with Rev. Courtney Herald officiating. Burial in the T Point Cemetery at Clayhole. Military rites will be observed.
