Ruby Barnett ,age 80, departed this earthly life Sunday, March 30, 2025 at the Breathitt Health & Rehab in Jackson, Kentucky.

Born to the late Conley and Mary Johnson Little at Belcher Fork she was also preceded in death by her son, Herbie Barnett and brother, Howard Cecil Little.

Ruby was a devoted homemaker who found joy in caring for her family. She loved taking care of Buster and enjoyed traveling, shopping, and working puzzle books. Above all else she treasured time spent with her family. Ruby cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Herbert "Buster" Barnett; her son, Scott Barnett; her sister, Jackie Hasty; granddaughter, Kacey; great-grandson, Josh.

Visitation for Ruby will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel and her funeral service will begin Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Willie Roy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery with Fred Stewart, Justin Hollon, Tim Barnett, Jaylan Hollon, and other family members serving as pallbearers.
