Roy Turner, 86, Altro passed away Sunday, January 7, at his residence. He was the son of the late Ned and Jennie Turner. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa Turner, Sandra Turner; one grandson, Waylon Turner and a host of brothers and sisters. He was a member of the Altro Church of God and he also attended the Johnson United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Turner; two sons, Roy Wayne(Kenny) Turner, Franklin Monroe(Paula) Turner; one daughter, Tammy(Chuck) Farmer; five stepchildren, Johnny(Brenda) Turner, Ricky(Amy) Riley, Gary(Sharon) Riley, Mark(Becky) Riley, Crystal(Joe) Farler; seven grandchildren; host of great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 6:00 PM. Funeral will be Wednesday, January 10, 1:00PM with Rev. Roy Lee Turner, Rev. Gary Riley, Rev. Chris Turner officiating. Burial in the Turner Cemetery at Altro.
