Paul Griffith, 83, passed away Wednesday, June 29, at the Nim Henson Geriatric Center. He was the son of the late Granville and Mary (Oaks) Griffith. He was also preceded in death by son, Dennis Griffith; brother, Andy Griffith; sisters, Pauline and Estella Griffith. He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Anderson) Griffith; one son, Mike (Karen) Griffith; one daughter, Lisa (Greg) Eldridge; two brothers, Granville (Erma) Griffith, Dan (Barbara) Griffith; two sisters, Mary June (Hollis) Garrett, Lillie Ellis (Charles) Moore; four grandchildren, Brandon (Nicole) Griffith and children, Bodi, Oliver, Scarlett, Lauren (Wallace) Bates and son, Caleb; Holly (Warren) Combs and daughter, Melody Belle; Kami Griffith; sister-in-law, Callie Mattingly; special friend, Ward Wireman. Visitation, Friday, 5:00 PM. Funeral Saturday, 1:00 PM with Rev. Gary Bellamy and Rev. Paul Turner officiating. Burial in the Hounshell Cemetery at Shoulderblade.
