Omeda Strong Combs, 87, Copeland passed away Saturday, July 8, at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson. She was a member of the First Church of God at Beattyville. She was the daughter of the late Clifton and Nancy Ann Short Strong. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Ceilia Joette Ward; brothers, Otis, Simon, Caesar, Walter, Robert; sisters, Gracie, Geneva, Mary Sonya, Lilly, Regina. She is survived by husband, Oscar Combs; son, Marvin K. (Cynthia) Combs; brothers, Brack Howard Strong, Gerald Strong; grandsons, Michael K. (Stella) Combs, Marvin K. (Krystal) Combs, Jason (Stephanie) Ward, Jeremy Dwayne (Joanna) Vaughn, Brian Nathaniel Vaughn; great grandsons, Scotty, Skylar, Jonathan, Levi; great granddaughters, Kayla Lynn, Kerstie, Carlie. Visitation Monday, July 10, 6PM. Funeral Tuesday, July 11, 1PM with Rev. Tom Crawford officiating. Burial in the Jackson Cemetery.
