Myrtle
Miller
Oct 26, 1932 — Jan 1, 2022
Due to inclement weather, visitation and funeral has been changed to Monday, January 10. Visitation 11AM - 1PM. Funeral 1PM. On January 1, 2022, the Lord saw fit to call Myrtle Miller to her eternal Home in glory. She was born on October 26, 1932, and celebrated her 89th birthday in 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Miller; Her parents Adna and Marion Neace; Brothers, Melvin Neace, Marvin Neace, Calvin Neace and Sister, Jean Adkins, also her beloved grandson David James Miller. She is survived by Sisters, Faye Kennedy (John), Ada Neace, Sister in law Ola Faye Neace, and Patricia Guerra (Harold). Myrtle and Lonnie had Three Children: James Wallace Miller (Patti), Wanda Faye Holt (Floyd) and Donna Sue Carr (Cliff); Five Grandchildren: Angie Smith (Jason), Beloved Grandson, David James Miller, Shawna Fletcher (William), Christopher Lee Carr, Elizabeth Michelle Carr and Erica Parsons (precious family friend); Seven Great Grandchildren: DJ Smith, Lauren Osborne (Jordan), Emma Cordray, Isabella Suttles, Julianna Suttles, John Suttles, and Jakob Suttles; and Two Great Great Grandchildren: Leyton Osborne and Irelyn Osborne. How does one put onto paper so full a life as she lived? It's impossible to even begin, let alone fit it onto paper. She loved to sing anywhere she was invited, especially at the nursing home. She would say "I just love singing for those old people." Most of them were younger than her. She had a way of making you believe you could do absolutely anything and do it well. I can still hear her saying, "Never give up. Don't be a quitter." I can still her say a million other things that cheer me on everyday. I imagine she would want me to get to point, which is, she loved Jesus. She loved like Jesus. Everything she did was motivated by her love for Jesus. She would want you to know Jesus. She would not want you to leave here today without knowing Jesus. And she would give us words of comfort as we grieve her Homegoing and celebrate all she means to us. "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." Deuteronomy 31:6 She would tell us to go on and live our own full life, loving Jesus. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, family requests masks be worn and cautionary measures be observed. In lieu of flowers family request donations to Bethel Mennonite Camp, 2773 Bethel Church Road Clayhole, KY 41317
