Maxine Vires Turner, 50, Jackson passed away Thursday, May 4, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Lillian Johnson Vires. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Frank Turner; one son, Anthony Vires; three stepdaughters, Sherri Turner, Jamie Turner, Stephanie(Bobby) Thomas; two grandsons, Samuel Thomas, John Frank Thomas; four step granddaughters; one step great granddaughter; two brothers, Glenn(Ann) Vires, Jamie Vires; one sister, Freda Turner(Chad Dixon); special nephew, Joey Turner; host of nephews and nieces. Visitation Saturday, May 6, 6:00PM. Additional church services Saturday, May 6, 7:00PM. Funeral Sunday, May 7, 11:00AM with Rev. John Tincher, Rev. Emmitt Campbell, Rev. Chad Baker officiating.
