Matilda Jane Jones, 92, Hardshell passed away Sunday, January 12, at her residence. She was a member of the Buckhorn Regular Primitive Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Victor Jones and the daughter of the late David Crockett and Lula Cornett Dykes. She was also preceded in death by one son, John Verner Jones. She is survived by two sons, David (Betty) Jones, Victor Jones Jr.; five daughters, Jeanette (Ernest) Shouse, Mary Lou (Eugene) Cundiff, Martha Rose (Oscar) Johnson, Faye Jones, Marie (Donnie) Haddix; sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren; host of nephews and nieces. Visitation,Wednesday, January 15, 6PM. Funeral, Thursday, January 16, 1PM with David Gambill officiating. Burial in the Jones Family Cemetery.
