Mary Louise Salyers, 84, Cane Creek passed away Saturday, August 13, in London. She was the widow of the late Jesse Salyers and the daughter of the late Goley and Cora (Vires) Spencer. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Vernon Spicer, Sam Spicer, Lester Spicer, John D. Spencer; three sisters, Mourine Spencer, Gertrude Spencer, Wanda Spencer McIntosh. She is survived by one son, Delbert W. (Ina) Salyers; one daughter, Patricia McIntosh; one brother, George Spencer, one sister, Martha Spencer; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 17, at 11AM at the Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Faulkner and Rev. Josh Huff officiating. Additional singing services will be held Tuesday, August 15, at 7:00 PM. Burial in the Salyers Family Cemetery at Cane Creek. Visitation Tuesday, August 16, 6PM. Serving as pallbearers will be grandchildren and friends of the family.
