Martha L. Arnett , age 72 of Belmont Terrace Nursing Home in Florence, passed away Thursday July 25, 2024 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky.

Martha was born September 3, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Kathryn Arnett and grew up at Guage, Kentucky. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Risner, of Fairborn, Ohio, a niece, Jennifer Day (Lee) of Fairborn, Ohio, a nephew, David Risner of Centerville, Ohio, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law Edward Risner, and a nephew Stephen Risner.

She grew up in a Christian home and invited Jesus into her heart during her teenage years at Confederate Avenue Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia while visiting relatives.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 2 at 12:00 PM at the Breathitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Jonathan Clemens of First Baptist Church, Jackson officiating. She will be laid to rest in Jackson Cemetery next to her parents .
