Johnnie Cole, 60, Gays Creek, passed away Mon., Feb. 27, at his residence. He was a retired coal miner. He was the son of the late James Jr. and Cinda Jane Turner Cole. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Cole of Gays Creek; one daughter, Tracy(Anthony) Thorpe of Grapevine; two brothers, Lonnie(Ella) Cole of Altro, James III(Rhonda) Cole of Altro; one sister, Jane(Leland) Noble of Altro; one grandchild, Jordan Blake Thorpe. Visitation Wed., Mar. 1, 6PM at the Breathitt Funeral Home. Additional services Wed., Mar. 1, 7PM at the funeral home. Funeral services Thurs., Mar. 2, 12:00 PM at the Bowlings Creek Church of Christ with Rev. Albert Little, Rev. Chris Turner, Rev. Gary Riley, Rev. Tim Maggard officiating. Burial in the Cole Cemetery at Bowlings Creek. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
