John Paul Jones, 77, passed away Wednesday, September 21, at his residence in Springdale, Ohio. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 39 years of service. He was the son of the late Charlie and Sally Ann Miller Jones. He was also preceded in death by his inlaws, John and Elizabeth Wilder; one son, Lawrence Jones; three sisters, Lillie Mae Landrum, Janice Sue Jones, Alena Jones; two brothers, Lawrence Jones, OH Jones. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Elizabeth Ann Wilder Jones; three brothers, Drewey Jones, Douglas Jones, Lawrence "DayBoy" Jones; five sisters, Adna Miller, Blanche Campbell, Kathryn Napier, Ogie Hamilton, Jennifer Hays; one aunt, Lola Miller, one brother-in-law, Gene Napier; host of nephews, nieces and cousins. Visitation Friday, September 23, 5PM. Masonic rites observed Friday, September 23, 6PM. Funeral Saturday, September 24, 1PM. Burial in Harvey Bend Cemetery at Hardshell. Serving as pallbearers will be nephews.
