John Gabbard, 73, Jackson passed away Tuesday, October 8, at the Nim Henson Geriatric Center in Jackson. He was a member of the Palmer Memorial Church and the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. He is survived by his wife, Frances Gabbard; two daughters, Johnnie Sue Miller, Crystal Nickell; four grandchildren, Aaron Miller, Hannah Miller, Olivia Nickell, Kyle Wade Nickell. Memorial services Thursday, October 10, 1:00 PM at the Christ Fellowship Church in Jackson with Dennis Creech officiating. Visitation will begin at the church at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Nim Henson Geriatric Center, in care of Frances Bach.
