Jimmy Clifton Deaton, 56, Jackson passed away Thursday, September 12, at his residence. He was a member of the Little Cane Creek Baptist Church. He was an avid bluegrass musician. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, his two grandsons, his family, his friends and most of all he loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Mahala Deaton; father and mother-in-law, Eaf and Emma McKnight; brother-in-law, Mike McKnight; host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Denese McKnight Deaton; one son, James Darin Deaton; his parents, James and Ruth Elizabeth Turner Deaton; one sister, Regina(Doug) Holmes; two grandsons, Sammie Clifton Deaton and Levi Preston Deaton; nephews, Adam Holmes(Kayla), Scotty(Crystal) McKnight, Jason McKnight; nieces, Kimberly(Jeff) Coomer, Emma McKnight; great nephews and nieces, Blake, Khloe, Cole, Allie, Carson, Mia; special brothers-in-law, Darin McKnight, Doug Holmes; special sisters-in-law, Brenda McKnight, Lois McKnight, Stacy McKnight; host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation, Sunday, September 15, 6:00PM. Funeral, Monday, September 16, 2:00PM with Jesse Turner, Freddie Finley, John Abner, Jimmy Garland officiating. Burial in the Buddy Spicer Cemetery at Sebastian Branch.
