Jewell Hughes, 60, Harlan passed away Wednesday, June 13, at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Harlan. She was the widow of the late David Roberts and the daughter of the late George and Maxine Arrowood Combs. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Briana Jewell Roberts. She was a member of the Full Gospel Evangelistic Ministry in Irvine. She is survived by two sons, David Roberts(Susie Combs), Greg Roberts; seven brothers, David Combs, Billy Combs(Kathy), Robert Combs(Anita), Stephen Combs, Ronald Combs(Robin), Ricky Combs(Leighann), Anthony Combs(Dana); four sisters, Dianna Turner(David), Teresa Combs(Carlos), Wanda Combs, Sonya Thorpe(Duane); three grandsons, two granddaughters; host of nephews and nieces. Visitation Friday, June 15, 6:00PM. Funeral Saturday, June 16, 1:00PM with Rev. Larry Collins and Rev. Robert Combs officiating. Burial in the Roberts Cemetery at Altro.
