Jesse Raleigh , 81 of Turner's Creek, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky. Born on January 12, 1945 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, Jesse lived a life rooted in family, hard work and simple joys.

Jesse worked at a sheet metal factory in Newport, Kentucky. Outside of work, he enjoyed playing with his special nephew, Cameron Tharp, relaxing at home, watching sports and hunting. These activities brought him much joy.

A man of faith, Jesse attended Turner's Creek Church of Christ, where he found spiritual guidance and fellowship throughout his life.

Jesse was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lizzie Raleigh; his parents, Green and Polly Raleigh; his brother, Jerry Raleigh and his sister, Elsie Raleigh. He is survived by his sisters, Betty (Mitchell) Turner, Ruth (Silas) Hall, Belle (Johnny) Raleigh and Julie (Henry) Hall. In addition to Cameron Tharp, Jesse leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will cherish their memories of him.

Graveside service will be held for Jesse, Monday, March 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Raleigh Cemetery at Turner's Creek with Silas Hall officiating.  Burial will follow after the ceremony with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
