Ina Hudson Southwood, 84, Clayhole passed away Wednesday, November 23, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard with the continued love and devotion of her children, Ed and Sharon by her side. She was a member of the Breathitt County School Board. She was also a member of the Breathitt School Board Association and the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. She was a Kentucky Colonel. She was the widow of the late Arthur Southwood and the daughter of the late James Hudson Sr. and Lula Noble Hudson. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Lea Southwood; two brothers, Rev. Roy Hudson, Reed Hudson Sr.; two sisters, Margaret Geneva Hudson Perkins, Mary Drucille Hudson. She is survived by one son, Edward Southwood; two daughters, Sharon Hazel Southwood(Randy Gordon), Deborah L. Hudson(Perry Dunmire); one brother, James "Snook" Hudson(Reecy) one grandson, James Michael Southwood; host of nephews and nieces; special niece and family to Ina; Joyce, Paul, Mike, Tiffany, Hudson and Preston Herald; lifelong friend, Edie Meadows and other special friends, Shirley Hudson, Anne Hays, Willena White, Breathitt Co. School System. Visitation Thursday, November 24, 5PM. Funeral Friday, November 25, 11AM with Rev. Raymond Hudson officiating. Burial in the McIntosh Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers, Darwin Noble, Rusty Hall, Senator Johnny Ray Turner, Mike Holcomb, Ron Eden, All Former Students.
