Hazel McIntosh, 74 of Jackson departed this earthly life Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Kentucky River Medical Center.

She was born December 30, 1949 in Campton, Kentucky to the late James Raleigh and Katherine Johnson South. She was the widow of the late Herbert McIntosh. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Taulbee.

Hazel was a member of the Jackson Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time reading, playing on her tablet and spending time with her family especially her grandbabies.

She is survived by her son, Herbert Daniel (Teresa) McIntosh; her daughter, Phyllis Gross; her grandchildren, Nathan McIntosh, Billy Gross, Raven Preece; her great grandchildren, Brooklynn Layne, Brantley Layne, Callie Preece, Dominic Preece.

A visitation for Hazel will be held Sunday, December 1, at the funeral home from 3:00 - 6:00 PM.
