George Griffith, 76, of Bethany passed away Sunday, November 17, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of the late George and Sarah Chambers Griffith. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Dallie, Opal, Mallie, Joe, Billie, Kathleen, Grover. He is survived by his wife, Helen Griffith; one son, Glenn(Leslie) Griffith; one daughter, Ann(Jeff) Carter; five sisters, Birdie Noble, Monzell Turner, Gladys Conley, Hallie Moore, Dollie Kinder; four grandchildren, Zachary Griffith, Hannah Griffith, Ty Carter, Rachel Griffith. Visitation, Tuesday, November 19, 5PM. Funeral, Wednesday, November 20, 1PM with Terry Conley and Gary Bellamy officiating. Burial in the George Griffith Cemetery at Bethany.
