Florence Burton, 66, Talbert; passed away Saturday, July 2, at Pikeville, KY. She was the widow of the late Woodrow Burton and the daughter of the late James R. and Gertie (Yeary) Herald. She is survived by one son, Woodrow Glen Burton (Nikki Smith); two daughters, Shelley (Greg) Brown, Melanie Taulbee (James Goad); one brother, Wilson Herald, two sisters, Lizzie (Jasper) Mullins, Mary Turner; five grandchildren, Sydney Burton (Timothy Stewart), Dylan Burton (Cheyenne), Danielle Turner, Sierra Taulbee, Cheylee Turner; two great grandchildren, Palyn Burton, Aubrey Stewart. Mrs. Burton is also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 5, at 12:00 PM at the Old Macedonia Old Regular Baptist Church located at Talbert, KY with Rev. Jesse Turner, Rev. Pat Turner, Rev. Paul Hall officiating. Burial will take place in the Jesse Hall Cemetery located at Turners Creek. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 4, beginning at 5:00 PM with additional services to follow at 7:00 PM at the church.
