Everett "Bill" Haddix, 77, Jackson passed away Thursday, at his residence. He was a member of the Lower Quicksand United Baptist Church and he was also a Kentucky Colonel. He was the son of the late James and Maude Haddix. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Frank Haddix, Luther Haddix, Cubby Haddix, Jay Haddix; one stepson, Gary Gross. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Haddix; three sons, William (Nancy) Haddix, Dean (Samantha) Haddix, Chad (Lucinda) Haddix; one daughter, Norma Hensley; two stepsons, Ricky Moore, Jeffrey Trent; two stepdaughters, Teresa (Ed) Johnson, Tammy (Keith) Couch; four sisters, Edith (Dave) Griffus, Gladys (Lee) Swalzdal, Betty (Dean) Clemons, Opal Whitehead; sixteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; host of nephews and nieces. Visitation Saturday, 5PM. Funeral Sunday, 1PM with Rev. Drewey Lee Jones officiating. Burial in the Haddix Cemetery.
