Edgar Allen Jr., 73, Vancleve passed away Sunday, September 17, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. He was a member of the Boone Fork Church of Christ. He was the son of the late Edgar and Evalee Taulbee Allen. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Willie Allen, Elzie Allen, Herbert Allen, Charles Allen; sisters, Mary Feltner, Adene Stevens, Pauline Nelson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pauline Allen; son, Anthony and wife, Helen Allen; daughter, Debbie and husband, Phil Fugate; brother, Lee and wife, Lucille Allen; sisters, Irene Overbee, Phyllis Wall; grandchildren, Ashley Allen, Jarad Fugate, A.J. Allen, Zack Fugate; great grandchildren, Morgan Nicole Allen, Alison Bree Fugate, Lydia Elise Allen. Visitation Tuesday, 6PM. Funeral Wednesday, 2PM with Rev. Kelly Flinchum officiating. Burial in the Field Branch Cemetery at Vancleve. Serving as pallbearers, A.J. Allen, Lee Allen, Zack Fugate, Jarad Fugate, Phil Fugate, Harold Trent.
