Earl Turner, 84, Ft. Mitchell, formerly of Jackson, passed away Sun., Jan. 10, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was a member of the Jackson First Baptist Church, a US Army veteran of the Korean war, a member of the Breathitt Co. Masonic Lodge and the Oleika Shrine Temple. He was the son of the late Bradley and Elva (Short) Turner. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorcas Herald; one brother, Clyde Turner; one grandson, Robert Patrick Mason. He is survived by one son, Larry (Kaye) Turner; one daughter, Patricia (James) Mason; two brothers, Cletus Turner, Carl Turner; three sisters, Euleen Herald, Lou Ann Turner, Ruth Draper; three grandchildren, Chrisandrea Turner, Adrian Deese, Elizabeth Mason; four great grandchildren, Reece Ingram, Maddox Ingram, Hudson Deese, Julia Claire Deese; special friend, W. Alan Baker. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
