Douglas Willard Salyers, 66, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, July 14, at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson. He was the son of the late Willard Salyers and Grace Marie Potter Salyers. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lynn Salyers. He attended the Haddix House of Miracles Church. He is survived by son: Bryan (Justina) Salyers; daughter, Elesha (Scott) Allen; special friend and her children, Brenda Southwood, Allie and Zane; two grandchildren, Jed Salyers, Evie Jo Salyers. Visitation will be Saturday, July 17, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral will be Sunday, July 18, 1:00 PM with Rev. Roy Moore officiating. Burial in the Jackson Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be friends and family.
