Douglas Jones, 72, passed away Monday, October 2, at the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the son of the late Charlie and Sally Ann Miller Jones. He was also preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Orville & Olga Combs; brothers, Lawrence Jones, OH Jones, John Paul Jones; sisters, Lillie Mae Landrum, Janie Sue Jones, Alena Jones; sister-in-law, Flo Bess Pugh. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 32 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Goldie Jones; sons, Douglas Wayne(Amy) Jones, Jeffery Dean(Tina) Jones, Orville Keith(Tracy) Jones; brothers, Drewey(Rita) Jones, Lawrence "Dayboy" Jones(Ada Barnett); sisters, Adna Miller, Blanche Campbell, Kathryn(Gene) Napier, Ogie Lea Hamilton, Jennifer Hays, ten grandchildren, one step grandson; aunt, Lola Miller, special cousin, Wilma Jean Stamper; host of nephews, nieces and other cousins. Visitation Friday, October 6, 6PM. Additional church services Friday, October 6, 7PM. Funeral Saturday, October 7, 11AM with Rev. Emmitt Campbell, Rev. Russell Hays, Rev. Kerney Bouchard, Rev. Drewey Lee Jones officiating. Burial in the Harvey Bend Cemetery at Hardshell.
