Rev. Charles Lovely, 90, passed away Saturday, March 31, in Lexington, KY. He was the son of the late Ruby and Charity Combs Lovely. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Faye Campbell Lovely; two daughters, Teresa Lovely, Jennifer Hawse; one son Tim Lovely; two grandchildren, Charlie Lovely and Heather Faye Manns; four brothers,Willie Lovely, Robert Lovely, Joe Lovely, Chester Lovely; one sister, Martha Lou Watts. Charles was a Master Sgt. in the Korean/Philippines War. He was also the Founder and Pastor of the Lost Creek Free Church for over 50 years. He is survived by two sons, Philip (Diane) Lovely, Perry (Melinda) Lovely; two daughters, Linda Aldridge, Denise (Mervin) Manns; five sisters, Juanita Combs, Josephine Jackson, Bea Ison, Wilma Eversole, Betty Denn; son-in-law, Donnie Hawse as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Visitation Tuesday, April 3, 11:00AM, Funeral Tuesday, April 3, 1:00PM with Rev. David Haddix officiating. Burial following in the Jackson Cemetery.
