Brenda Lee Roark Turner, 59, Morehead passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. She was the cherished matriarch of a loving family, blessing all who knew her with immeasurable kindness and grace. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Mullins Roark. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and beloved husband, Eddie Dale Turner; two sons, Ryan Alexander Turner and Matthew Edward(Anya) Turner; two grandchildren, Chandler Thomas and Lily Elizabeth Turner; father, William Ray(Brenda Rose) Roark; sister, Carolyn(Hirley) Smith; brother, Bill(Missy) Roark; two half brothers, Brandon Lee Roark, Douglas Roark; along with a host of many other family and friends. Visitation, Thursday, May 2, 5:00 PM. Funeral Friday, May 3, 11:00 AM at the Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. Burial in the Mill Dam Cemetery, Butterpoint Road, Canoe. Donations may be made in memory of Brenda to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
