Bill Farler, 90, passed away Thurs., Oct. 16, at the VA Hospital in Lexington. He was the son of the late Pearl and Lizzie Fugate Farler. He was also preceded in death by son, Billy Farler; daughter, Pamela Marlene Farler; brothers, Pearl Jr. Farler, George Bunch Farler, Manuel Ray Farler; sisters, Arbutus Farler Fields, Bessie Farler. He was a veteran of the US Navy during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Verda Mae Francis Farler; daughter, Darlene Gail Farler; two sisters-in-law, Betty Farler, Lois Farler; special family, Kay and Paul Hale, Andrew Hale, Tiffany Clair, Samuel Crete Maelyn Clair; special friend, Precious; host of nephews and nieces.
