Bessie Francis Combs, 87, Lost Creek passed away Monday, January 18, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. She was a member of the Neace Memorial Church. She was the widow of the late Ervine Combs and the daughter of the late Harrison and Carrie Neace Francis. She was also preceded in death by son, Claude Combs; granddaughter, Lexie Combs; brothers, Henry Francis, Tyrol Francis, Harry Francis, Oscar Francis, Dana Francis, two stillborn brothers; sisters, Iolet Francis Watts, Lillie Francis. She is survived by sons, James (Judy) Combs, Clint (Kathy) Combs, Clayton (Shelly) Combs, Craig (Tammy) Combs; daughter, Ilene (Carl) Perkins; daughter-in-law, Angie Combs; brothers, Dewey (Martha) Francis, Clyde Francis, Paul Francis; sisters, Donna (Jim) Noble, Daisy (Kerney) Henson; Ruth Francis; grandchildren, Trisha, Robert, Christopher, Kayla, Brooklyn, Brittany, Chloe; nine great grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Jennifer Combs; adopted son, Jeff Noble, her dog, Lou. Visitation Wednesday, January 20, 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral Thursday, January 21, 11:00 AM with Bobby Collins and Kenneth Noble officiating. Burial in the Ivy Point # 1 Cemetery at Ned.
