Bertha Riley, 71, Jackson passed away Sunday, August 6, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Emory and Rosie (Estep) Barret. She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, Justin Raymond Neace, Anthony Scott Haddix, Stephanie Rose Turner. She is survived by six children, Mary Louise Combs, Carolyn Combs(John Roberts), Teresa Ann(Raymond) Neace, Sally(Lewis) Turner, Terry Lee Combs, Larry Wayne Combs; one brother, Jimmy Barret; six sisters, Imojean(Walter) Thope, Lillie(Doug) Neace, Susie(Corbet) Couch, Lucy(Eligah) Quinn, Emma(Ben) Collins, Alma(Ken) Miller; one special granddaughter, Alma Rae Combs; one special grandson, Hunter Ray Fugate; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren. Visitation Tuesday, August 8, 6PM at the Altro Church of God. Additional church services Tuesday, August 8, 7PM at the Altro Church of God. Funeral services Wednesday, August 9, 1PM at the Altro Church of God with Rev. Chris Turner, Rev. Kenneth Miller, Rev. James Neace officiating. Burial in the Frank Turner Cemetery at Bowlings Creek.
