Benny Baker, 63, Winchester passed away Saturday, February 10, at the VA Hospital in Lexington. He was a US Army veteran. He was the son of the late Caesar and Bertha(Deaton) Baker. He was also preceded in death by brother, Ray Baker; sisters, Beulah Mae Gruber, Lillie Cover, Linda Lou Elliott, Deloris Baker. He is survived by companion, Mary Schaffer; son, Benjamin Glen Baker; stepchildren, Amanda Hall, Joelle Yaeger, Kenith Nance; brothers, Kash(Brenda) Baker, Raymond(Vada) Baker, Edward(Vanessa) Baker, Charles(Jenny) Baker; sisters, Bonnie Jean(Jerry) Madden, Geraldine(Freddie Wayne) Mullins; grandchildren, Natalie Baker, Josh Baker; host of nephews and nieces. Visitation Tuesday, February 13, 6:00 PM. Singing service Tuesday, 7:00 PM. Funeral Wednesday, February 14, 1:00 PM with Rev. Anthony Wayne Mullins and Rev. Danny White officiating. Burial in the Causie Cemetery at River Caney. Military rites will be observed at the graveside.
