Angela Mechelle Raleigh , 52, Jackson passed away peacefully Monday, April 22, 2024. She was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church. She was the director of the Breathitt County Health Department and a registered dietitian. She enjoyed reading and taking pictures but more than anything she enjoyed family time. She was preceded in death by fathers, Estill Fugate and Bobby Terry; special grandmothers, Flora Howard and Evalee Turner. She was the wife of 24 years, 9 months and 13 days of Edgar Raleigh II. She was also survived by son, Jhet Coleman Edgar Raleigh; daughter, Jhentri Grasyn-Mechelle Raleigh; mother, Brenda Dysart Fugate Terry; special family, Ed and Ann Raleigh; sisters, Debbie Brewer(Doug), Pamela Cornelius(Mitch); stepmother, Mary Elizabeth Fugate; stepbrothers, Shawn Smith and Paul Smith Jr.; special family members, Dorothy Hardin, Grace Herald, Missi Haddix, Taylor Cornelius, Hayla Haddix, Jayce Haddix, Jenna Haddix, Sandi Beth Haddix, Lynn Ethel Herald, Nan Herald, Jasalynn Herald; special friends, Stella Prater Adkins, Katrina Bostron, Shanna Howell Godby, Jessica Hamilton, Ruschelle Hamilton, Krista Hubbard, Lucy Warrix, Kathy Hensley, Lauren Hendrickson, Tiffany Hollon, Elizabeth Miller. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24, 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Tim Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Jackson Cemetery.
