Alijah Kaylan McCoy was delivered into heaven Monday, July 6, 2026. Though his time with us was brief, he touched the hearts of his family and will forever be remembered with love.

Though our sweet child never took a breath in this world, he filled our hearts with a lifetime of love.  From the moment we learned of his existence, Alijah Kaylan was deeply cherished, eagerly awaited and already a treasured part of our family.

Alijah is survived by his devoted parents, Kimberly Adams and Justin McCoy; his siblings, Aiden McCoy and Arianna McCoy; his maternal grandparents, Tina and John Smith, as well as John Wayne and Becky Adams; and his paternal grandparents, John Davis and April Himes. He is also remembered by numerous extended family members who cherish his memory. Alijah was predeceased by his aunt, Kayla Jean Sandlin.

Visitation for Alijah will be held Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Breathitt Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with his funeral service to be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 12:00 PM with Gary Riley and Calvin Eash officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cole Family Cemetery at Bowling Creek.

Though Alijah's life was fleeting, the love he brought into the world will endure in the hearts of those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his loss.
